When Jesus Puts On An Apron

“Jesus wears an apron.”

“Huh?”

“Jesus wears an apron-“

“Wait what?-“

“Jesus wears an apron!”

‘Stop yelling. I heard you but how is it possible for Jesus to wear an apron! Where on earth did you get this information from???”

“In His word!”

Hahaaa…

By now your eyebrows have probably risen quizzically at the dialogue exchange above. But imagine that.

Jesus in an apron.

And where does it say? In his word!

“The servants who are ready and waiting for his return will be rewarded. I tell you the truth, he himself will seat them, put on an apron, and serve them as they sit and eat!” Luke 12:37 NLT

The word of God says that for those who live righteously according to His word, we will be rewarded when he returns and He will sit us down, put on an apron and serve us!

How deep is that?

Jesus has shown as just by putting on an apron how important it is for us to have a servant heart! Take Queen Esther for instance!

If she didn’t have a servant heart- that is a heart ready to serve her people- she would never have humbled herself for them – for God to deliver her people! She put on her apron of humility!

“Go and gather together all the Jews of Susa and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will do the same. And then, though it is against the law, I will go in to see the king. If I must die, I must die.” Esther 4:16 NLT

Have a heart ready to serve others, Queen… and if you do not know how, just look at Jesus because all he serves are always scrumptious whenever he puts on his apron!

Mmm… yum…

Queen Esther was ready to serve!

Jesus is always in service mode!

Both men and women should be ready to serve!

Are you?

Jesus Loves You and I do Too,

Queens in Christ,

Ann Manu????
