Scars to Stars

“Don’t you remember that girl? She’s the one that…”

“Oh yeah, this woman, she did this to…”

“How embarrassing for her! How can she-?”

“If I were her- I wouldn’t-”

Hahaaa…

And on and on it goes…

While using glitter to work on christmas decorations, I couldn’t help but be reminded of God’s ability to turn a scar into a star:

Ever been scarred in this life?

Ever had a label placed on you like you have no chance at survival?

A mark placed on you from your past that no one wishes to make you forget?

Sorry about that hun, but its time to look past all that.

Queen Esther certainly did.

She was orphaned at such a young age and one would say she was scarred for life. “The orphan,” many may have called her and yet even though Mordecai was raising her, it was highly possible that people kept looking at her in a sad manner; as though she had a scar on her for all to see.

But see what God did-

God turned it all around!

One who seemed scarred for life suddenly became the star of Persia!

“And the king loved Esther above all the women… so that he set the royal crown upon her head.” (KJV Esther 2:17)

What are you going through or have you been though, Queen?

Just know that you can rise above anything at all that the enemy throws your way!

Where you have been scarred, God will turn it into stars!

He will turn it into a testimony of His goodness.

Queen Esther may have lost her family but God gave a chance to build her very own family with the king!

Queen Esther may have felt that she received the shorter end of the stick in society and yet see where God elevated her to!

Whatever you are going through or have been through; know that God almighty has the power to elevate you to a height, greater than anyone can ever imagine concerning you!

Go out there and win souls for Christ:

Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. (NIV Daniel 12:3)

– and then will your stardom transcend to all generations!

Be encouraged, Queen!

God has the power to turn your scars into stars!

Jesus Loves You and I do Too,

Queens in Christ Jesus,

Ann Adu-Darko❤️
