Planting Flowers In The New Year

As this new year begun, I was excited when I saw a friend put this up on their page:

This really resonated with me and caused me to think about the scripture on sowing and reaping;

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap…”- Galatians 6:7

Whatever you sow, is what you will reap!

Yes, it is true that there are many things out of our control yet we also have our part to play in how things unfold in this year.

Where there is turmoil; plant peace.

Where there is sorrow; plant joy.

Where there is heartbreak; plant laughter.

Where there is discord; plant unity.

And where there is depression; plant hope.

Do these things this year, Queen and I daresay, you will find things turn around in your favour.

Queen Esther planted courage in a time where every Jew was afraid for their lives!

Having planted this seed of courage; ‘If I perish, I perish,’ God used her to bring a turnaround in that year for the Jews!

This year what are you going to plant?

Flowers?

Likewise!

Pray to plant flowers of encouragement.

Flowers of sisterhood or brotherhood.

Flowers of beautiful words.

Flowers of Hope.

and that will be what the year will bring to you.

I hope you encountered wisdom in these words.

Jesus Loves You and I do Too,

Queens In Christ,

Ann Manu 💕
